Coding agents can generate a Solace app that compiles, but will it use the right message exchange pattern, QoS, and a proper topic hierarchy? We just released open-source AI Skills that give agents like Claude Code and Cursor real Solace guidance, so they stop guessing.
In this session we'll introduce the Skills, install them from the agent-plugins repo, learn how to define a topic hierarchy that sets you up for long term success, and build a JCSMP application from a plain-language prompt, live!
Along the way we'll cover:
What the skills are capable of: solace-application-development (design and implementation modes), and solace-topic-best-practices
How the agent picks between pub/sub and request-reply, and between Guaranteed and Direct messaging
Applying topic architecture best practices while the code is being generated
The Maven project it produces, and the verification checklist that comes with it
Bring your questions, and your own agent if you'd like!
